    The purpose of the Farm Animal Welfare Network (FAWN) is to provide a resource and activity group for University of Iowa students concerned about the mistreatment of animals in factory farms, as well as abuse at stockyards and slaughterhouses. Activities will include public outreach and education campaigns such as sponsoring ads around campus promoting vegetarian/vegan cruelty-free lving, hosting information sessions about factory farms, legislation awareness and letter-writing resources, as well as social outlet for students to meet like minded individuals.

    The Fine Arts Council is a self-supporting, non-profit student organization whose members share an interest in promoting the arts at the University of Iowa. Invisible Children Inc. focuses on rebuilding schools for children in Uganda so that children have a safe place to take refuge and get their lives back on track.
